Project 1: Green Info-Shelter: Exploring the Environment Poetics.
In a group of 2, we are required to do our site analysis where the site is at the commercial block of Taylor's University. After understanding of site, we are to do some conceptual thinking and sketches to be able to start designing our Green Info-Shelter.

Learning Outcomes
1. Identify and analyse environmental qualities and contextual needs of a site
2. Apply ideas of environmental sustainability (gained from precedent studies, Environment Sustainable Design and Building Science 1 into architectural design.
3. Employ particular material and construction technique into the building.
Through this project, I've learnt to work as a team as the first place in all aspect such as in time management for meetings, site analysis, brainstorming and designing. Moreover, I've also discover the method to generate concept from my team mate in design which is my weakness. Besides, I've also able to apply sustainable features in building through passive design and choices of material. The building we designed are multifunction which can act as a info area, sculpture, landmark of that place besides just as a shelter.

In this project, the group work part is about we have been given a site which is the Belum Rainforest Resort, Pulau Banding, Perak to analysis about.

Through this site analysis, I have learnt the correct and proper way to interpret, document and analyse about the site and come out with a complete set of site analysis with all the plans, climates, geographical elements and views. Besides, a site model has been made to show the context and surrounding of the Belum Rainforest Resort, Bulau Banding, Perak.
Project 2: Nature Appreciation Centre (NAC)
Project 2 is an individual project where we have to design a Nature Appreciation Centre
The objective of this project is to propose a design scheme which response to the site (site topography, history and socio-cultural events), functional program and users’ experiences and generate design through conscious consideration of human scale, natural light, materials/texture. Besides, develop awareness of environmental sustainability in architectural design and ability to meet the imperative and inter-related environmental and social needs, as well as make poetry with the buildings.
Learning Outcomes
1. Apply ideas of environmental sustainability in design.
2. Design and create architectural spaces with consideration of environmental poetics in relation to the basic natural context and existing built context which impact on users’ experiences.
3. Combine the environmental needs, the site (site topography, history and socio-cultural events), and the users’ experiences within simple building design in the open landscape/suburban context.
4. Produce drawings (both 2D and 3D), modelling and verbal presentation to communicate and visualize architectural design and ideas based on clustered spatial typology.
Through this project, I've more understand the importance of nature to human and how to make people feel the same through my NAC. Besides that, I've also able to start my design from site perception then develop into my concept. The main aim of my NAC is to achieve sustainable and respecting site context, building are placed such a way to avoid any modification of the existing earth and trees. Besides, the choice of material are sustainable building material such as the bamboos as the wall and leaves roofing which identical to the existing structure.
